When tenants move out, the LLOA helps enable the automatic transfers of service into your name. If an LLOA is in place, no manual requests are needed. All eligibility requirements must be met.

Customizable

You decide when to transfer. Set conditions that work for your business model and property management needs.

Flexible when needed

After your initial LLOA is in place, you can add or remove properties or update agreements without creating a new LLOA.

Any residential property located within National Fuel’s service territory in Ohio may be included in an LLOA, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. You can manage multiple rental properties under a single agreement.

Is credit approval required for a LLOA?

Yes. LLOA agreements are subject to credit approval, including requirements such as security deposits, timely payments and service conditions.

Does submitting an application stop a scheduled service disconnection?

No. Submitting an application does not guarantee that a previously scheduled disconnection will be cancelled.

What are the benefits of using a LLOA?

LLOAs helps enable automatic service transfer when tenants move out, allow you to specify transfer conditions and provide flexibility to add or remove properties.

How do I update an existing LLOA?

You may change your existing agreement as needed or remove properties. Understanding residential rental utility transfer rules helps you manage your LLOA effectively. You will need to resubmit the entire application with updated details.

How do I cancel LLOA?

To remove your properties and end your existing agreement, please send us written notification indicating you wish to end your existing LLOA. Your agreement will remain active, and you will retain responsibility for service until we receive your written request to cancel and such request is processed.
