(1) A Connected Thermostat is a Wi-Fi communicating and analytics capable thermostat that combines the scheduling capabilities of a programmable thermostat with wireless connectivity, allowing users to remotely monitor and adjust temperature settings via a smartphone, tablet or computer. Eligible Connected Thermostats must also include additional energy savings features such as usage coaching, HVAC system diagnostics, geo-fencing and comparative information. An ENERGY STARTM certified Smart Thermostat includes all features of a Connected Thermostat along with the ability to perform
automatic adjustments in response to occupancy behavior.
(3) Insulation must be at least R-15 value for 2″x4″ construction and R-21 value for 2″x6″ construction.
(4) Insulation must be at least R-38 value.
(5) Package Includes:
- Sealing and insulating attic over livable space
- Blower Door Test and Air Leakage Sealing
- Sealing and insulating rim or band joists
(6) Package includes everything from the “Good” package, as well as “Insulating exterior walls”, and one additional measure from the following options:
- Floor Over Basement Insulation
- Knee-Wall Insulation
- Ceiling Under Unconditioned Overhang Insulation
- Crawl Space Insulation
- Garage Ceiling Insulation Under Conditioned Space
