Michael serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for the Company. He is also responsible for the oversight of the Company’s audit services, corporate communications, and risk management departments, as well as legal for Distribution and Supply segments and government affairs at the federal and NY state levels.

Michael joined National Fuel in 1991 as an attorney in the legal department and since that time has received numerous promotions and added responsibilities.

Prior to his tenure at National Fuel, he was an associate attorney at Jones Day. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo and juris doctorate from University at Buffalo Law School.
