Fueling Our Communities
Since our incorporation in 1902, National Fuel has provided a safe, reliable and affordable source of energy, while contributing to the economic health of the communities where we live and work.
As a locally based company headquartered in Western New York, stewardship—from wellhead to burner tip—is at the forefront of our operations. We continue to invest in the community, building new pipeline infrastructure, expanding our workforce, supporting local business partners and contributing to hundreds of nonprofit organizations.
Charitable support is provided through corporate sponsorships and the National Fuel Gas Company Foundation. While both programs support the communities we serve, each has a distinct purpose. Please review the descriptions below to determine which funding opportunity best aligns with your request before submitting an application.
National Fuel Gas Company Foundation
The National Fuel Gas Company Foundation provides grant funding to nonprofit organizations whose work aligns with our giving priorities of Community Enrichment & Safety, Education, Environmental Stewardship, and Veterans Services. Through the Foundation, we invest in programs and partnerships that strengthen the communities where we live and work. If your organization would like to apply for a Foundation Grant, we ask that you first contact one of our Foundation representatives to further discuss your potential grant opportunity prior to submitting an application.
Corporate Sponsorships
Our Corporate Sponsorship Program supports community events, civic initiatives, and partnership opportunities that help strengthen the communities we serve. Sponsorship requests are generally event-based and may include opportunities for community engagement, recognition, or visibility for the Company. Sponsorships are evaluated separately from Foundation grant requests.
Days of Doing
Days of Doing (DOD), an extension of our Faces of Fuel Volunteer Program, is an annual company-wide event across the Company’s New York and Pennsylvania service territory.
National Fuel executives and employees volunteer in a variety of service projects focused on environmental conservation including planting, clean-up and beautification at state and regional parks and within neighborhoods.
National Fuel provides participating Days of Doing nonprofits with a charitable gift and will continue to increase corporate volunteerism.
