PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
National Fuel is currently seeking a Compression & Transmissions Intern for an outstanding career opportunity in our operations department for the Summer of 2026. The intern will be responsible for:
- Assisting operations staff with day-to-day activities along with planning of future projects.
- Compiling and analyzing field data using Microsoft Office and other programs.
- Assisting with equipment maintenance procedures to include pipeline work and engine overhauls.
- Collecting and reporting accurate field data to engineering for reporting to state and federal agencies.
- Scheduling tests and follow up reviews of compressor station equipment and auxiliary systems
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Students seeking an associate or bachelor’s degree/concentration in Engineering, Construction or Electrical Maintenance
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Demonstrated time management, organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Exceptional analytical, communication, problem solving and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license
COMPENSATION:
- The base pay for this position is $20/hr.
