PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, examine, evaluate, and document the adequacy and effectiveness of National Fuel’s IT activities to ensure key risks are appropriately managed and internal controls are properly designed and operating effectively.
- Perform testing and documentation of IT General Computer Controls (GCC) to support National Fuel’s compliance with the Sarbanes‑Oxley Act of 2002
- Identify and communicate opportunities to strengthen controls, provide processes improvement recommendations and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Participate as a consultant on special project assignments as requested by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technology‑ or audit‑related field is required
- Solid working knowledge of information technology processes and related controls
- Strong analytical abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Initiative, professionalism, and the ability to work successfully in a deadline driven environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Concentration in Management / Accounting Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Prior audit experience, or a minimum of 6+ years technology experience with knowledge of audit process
- Relevant professional certification – if no active professional certification, the successful candidate should be willing to pursue CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
- Familiarity with IT governance and control frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, and/or ITIL
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Power BI and familiarity with Data Analytics

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The base salary range for this position is $75,000 – $102,000.
This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
