PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identity & Active Directory Administration
- Create, update, and manage user accounts, security groups, distribution lists, and application-level permissions in Active Directory and Entra ID.
- Perform identity troubleshooting including MFA failures, sign-in errors, lockouts, Conditional Access issues, and token/credential problems.
- Support access lifecycle tasks (Joiner–Mover–Leaver), ensuring accurate provisioning and deprovisioning.
- Maintain proper permission structures, inheritance patterns, and least-privilege models.
Systems Administration & Technical Troubleshooting
- Apply Windows systems administration skills to diagnose issues involving profiles, Group Policy, workstation identity sync, or authentication failures at the OS level.
- Provide intermediate support for endpoint-related issues where identity, device configuration, or local system behavior overlap.
- Contribute to system stability by identifying root causes and recommending improvements related to access and endpoint configuration.
Deskside & Hardware Support
- Provide occasional deskside support for hardware issues directly related to access or identity workflows (e.g., login failures, profile issues, password reset stations, smart cards/badges, MFA devices).
- Support device setup tasks when intertwined with account provisioning (e.g., new hire workstation setup steps impacted by identity timing or access workflows).
- Assist with basic hardware troubleshooting involving desktops, laptops, docking stations, and peripherals as needed.
Automation & Workflow Optimization
- Build and maintain automated onboarding workflows to reduce manual identity provisioning.
- Collaborate with IAM Engineering to expand SCIM provisioning, role-based access templates, and identity automation.
- Monitor automation health and troubleshoot failures in the identity provisioning pipeline.
Documentation, Governance & Collaboration
- Maintain accurate documentation, identity records, and SOPs.
- Contribute to knowledge articles for the Service Desk and IT partners.
- Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with Security, EUC, M365 Cloud, and Infrastructure teams on cross-domain issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in systems administration, IAM operations, or technical support.
- Strong working knowledge of: Entra ID / Azure AD, Active Directory users, groups, OU structures, Group Policy fundamentals, MFA/SSO tools
- Experience troubleshooting Windows workstation issues that intersect with identity workflows.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, workflow approvals, and access processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer-service mindset.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with SCIM provisioning, identity automation, or scripting (PowerShell preferred).
- Knowledge of RBAC, governance workflows, access certifications, and privilege models (PAM/JIT).
- Experience providing deskside support or hardware troubleshooting within an enterprise environment.
- Background collaborating with Service Desk Tier-2, EUC, or Infrastructure teams on identity-related issues.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The base salary range for this position is $62,500- $95,000

The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
