PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is for a highly creative and experienced individual to evolve National Fuel’s brand and visual identity. The position
involves conceptualizing, designing and executing compelling visual solutions that align with strategic business objectives:
- Design various print and digital marketing communications materials to meet internal and external needs. Create assets for social media, corporate reports, websites, customer communications, presentations and advertisements that align with National Fuel’s brand identity.
- Actively collaborate with Corporate Communications team members, photographers, and additional stakeholders through brainstorming sessions.
- Work closely with internal colleagues across various Company departments to ensure cohesive visual concepts for presentations, collateral materials, promotional items, etc.
- Incorporate typography and color theory. Use fonts, design principles, and color schemes to enhance the appeal of marketing materials.
- Maintain brand guidelines. Ensure consistency across the organization with the goal of protecting the brand identity for all visual designs through implementing an intake and approval process.
- Execute design concepts and ideas that align with the Company’s goals and target audiences. Actively seek and incorporate feedback from project contributors.
- Adapt designs for various mediums and channels. Tailor visuals for digital platforms, print, and multimedia projects.
- Manage multiple projects at once in a deadline-driven environment while delivering high-quality visual assets.
- Enhance existing systems and processes to streamline efficiency.
- Maintain expertise in and integrate the latest trends, techniques and production tools to execute innovative projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, or a related field.
- Demonstrated 5-7 years of design experience through a strong portfolio, preferably within a corporate setting.
- Technical proficiency and expert-level knowledge of design software and tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong visual, verbal, listening and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in typography, color theory, photography and design principles to create impactful visuals. Awareness of industry trends and the ability to integrate them into projects.
- Time management skills. Efficiently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adjust designs based on stakeholder feedback and preferences as well as evolving project requirements.
- Problem-solving skills. Creative ability to overcome design challenges and deliver effective solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience utilizing Sitefinity and Word Press content management systems is a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with UI/UX design, motion graphics software, and photography and/or videography.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The base salary range for this position is $60,500 – $76,000
This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
