PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary responsibility for the oversight of Main Office, equipment and grounds general condition and ensuring a safe, comfortable work environment. Work occasionally extends to other NFG facilities.
• Monitor and direct the progress of construction, maintenance and repair works undertaken by contractors’ services as well as manage and track key information for these projects
• Ensure compliance of all Federal, state, and local jurisdictions codes. Example: Building codes, ADA compliance, OSHA, NFPA, NEC, etc.
• Solicit bids for contracted services to ensure that NFG is receiving the best possible service at the most reasonable cost
• Liaison between other departments and projects which impact office locations. Example: employee moves, minor furniture reconfiguration
• Review, prioritize and manage repairs and project requests received from stakeholders
• Develop projects list and provide estimated costs for facilities O&M and Capital budgets
• Research and provide cost effective and efficient recommendations for equipment replacements, light projects etc.
• Communicate status of all projects with appropriate field locations and Department Management
• Emergency response to off-hours concerns

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years maintenance/facilities environment experience
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Experience in basic carpentry and painting
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and make decisions independently where necessary
• Able to work outside in inclement weather and lift up to 50 pounds

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Light equipment operation and maintenance
• Mechanical and technical aptitude
• Experience in building controls and energy management

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The base salary range for this position is $62,500 – $82,000.

The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
