PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist interstate pipeline customers with daily capacity inquiries related to transportation and storage services
- Negotiate business arrangements with transportation and storage customers and coordinate all aspects of the process, including interruptible capacity sales, capacity postings, gas purchases and sales, email notifications, customer inquiries, business system input, and documentation
- Work closely with team members to develop strategies to maximize the marketability of transportation and storage services
- Create data analytics around natural gas fundamentals and develop insight driven commercial strategies across transport and storage services
- Develop a thorough understanding of the Northeast natural gas market and provide regular updates to the Department on market trends and news
- Assist in the development and implementation of new and/or modified Tariff services
- Assist in the preparation of the Department’s annual O&M Budget and monthly reporting responsibilities
- Assist with five-year financial forecasting and monthly reporting responsibilities
- Work closely with the Department Manager and Officers to prepare materials for Board of Director meetings
- Collaborate with the Sales team on the preparation of marketing materials
- Oversee website content to ensure compliance with FERC regulations and tariff requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a business related discipline or relevant work experience is required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Analytical skills and technical ability, including a proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- Exceptional time management and multi-tasking abilities
- The ability to adapt quickly to change
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced Excel skills preferred

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The base salary range for this position is $60,500 – $66,000.
This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
