PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Autonomy and individual responsibility to support a number of functional business units across a variety of areas in the company
- Draft, review and negotiate agreements
- Support ongoing and new regulatory compliance programs and initiatives
- Support of the Company’s recently announced Ohio natural gas utility acquisition
- Manage use of outside counsel, as necessary
- Provide general support as requested by General Counsel
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Juris Doctor Degree
- License to practice or ability to waive into practice in Pennsylvania (or preparing to sit for bar exam)
- Strong analytical, writing, and negotiation skills
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with a variety of business units and stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- License to practice or ability and willingness to waive into practice in Ohio (or preparing to sit for bar exam)
- Law review, law journals, judicial internships, moot court and other extracurricular activities

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The base salary range for this position is $95,000 – $115,000.

The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
