Located in McKean County, PA, the company provides unique water resource and recycling solutions to upstream and midstream operators by creating incremental value from traditional waste streams. Highland manages the operational and economic needs of the energy sector in an environmentally-responsible manner, advancing recycling and reuse rather than disposal. Based on volume, Highland is the largest handler of produced fluids in the Pennsylvania Marcellus/Utica Shale region.
Job Responsibilities
The Administrative Technician will serve as an integral member of the team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
- Organize, file, and maintain physical and electronic records related to water infrastructure projects and operations.
- Assist with procurement documentation, purchase orders, and vendor coordination
- Prepare and submit required reports to agencies including PA DEP, EPA, Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC), Conservation District, and PennDOT
- Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
- Track and monitor project costs, budgets, and progress metrics
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies across internal systems and reports
- Assist in compiling data for audits and internal reviews
- Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Support scheduling, meeting preparation, and communication for water infrastructure projects and operations
- Comply with Highland’s EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrate active and regular involvement in EHSQ programs
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
- 1+ years of administrative or technical support experience, preferably in oil and gas or environmental compliance
- Familiarity with regulatory agencies and reporting requirements (PA DEP, EPA, SRC, etc.)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to reconcile complex data sets
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and water management practices is a plus
The successful candidate must be authorized to work in United States of America.
Highland Field Services offers a competitive salary, hybrid work schedule and a comprehensive benefits package. This position is not eligible for relocation.
