PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Engineering & Management – Responsible for managing and overseeing projects from the design phase to construction, including implementation of the project. Responsible for managing and controlling proposals, design contracts, construction contracts, project progress and costs for various capital compressor related construction projects.
- Responsible for analyzing, recommending, and implementing methods for improving the quality of compression operations using expert mechanical knowledge and related technologies.
- Effectively plan, schedule, and manage multiple capital and operational projects concurrently to meet the Company’s needs and expectations.
- Assist Business Development and Operations by preparing project scopes, cost estimates, and execution plans for new capital and expansion projects.
- Provide technical support to Operations including engine & compressor performance, auxiliary equipment capabilities, compressor/pipeline capacity studies and associated emissions and regulatory compliance.
- Extensive work with third-party engineering consultants in conceptual design, process design, PFD and P&ID development, equipment design, sizing, specification, and selection, system hydraulic design, bid preparation, operator training, plant commissioning & start-up, troubleshooting, and performance testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred mechanical, civil, petroleum, chemical) from an accredited university or college.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, proven technical abilities and strong computer skills.
- Ability to successfully work independently as well as within a team environment is required.
- Exceptional time management, work ethic and abilities to work on multiple projects are essential to succeed in this position.
- Ability to travel – This position will require periodic travel to project locations and may include temporary job assignments within Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania during facility construction.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in Project Management techniques including project scoping and estimating.
- Experience in Construction Management or involvement in construction activities.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 – $120,000.

The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
