PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role supports the administration of collective bargaining agreements and day‑to‑day labor relations activities. This role serves as a key liaison between management, Human Resources, and union representatives, ensuring consistent application of labor contracts, policies, and employment laws.
- Act as a primary HR partner supporting labor relations across unionized operations in OH, PA, and NY
- Interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements to ensure consistent and compliant contract administration
- Lead disciplinary investigations, grievance handling, and dispute resolution in partnership with management and union leadership
- Support contract negotiations, wage administration, and ongoing compliance with labor laws
- Partner with managers and HR to provide guidance on labor relations matters and employee relations issues
- Travel periodically to Dayton-area locations, with occasional travel to PA and NY as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and leadership capability
- Strong analytical skills with ability to present data in a clear and concise manner
- High level of organization, documentation, and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior labor relations experience is preferred but candidates with strong employee relations, HR management, operations leadership, or unionized workforce experience are encouraged to apply.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The base salary range for this position is $62,500 – $90,000. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
