Protocols and Programs Designed for Protection

Seneca Resources utilizes ISNetworld to help monitor contractors’ safety programs and evaluate whether a contactor meets our high standards.

  • Safety statistics, including total recordable injury rate (TRIR), days away/restricted/transfer (DART) and experience modification rate (EMR) are evaluated by ISNetworld.
  • Leading indicators, such as written safe work practices, Job Safety Analyses, audits and safety meetings are captured and evaluated.
  • ISNetworld also provides a platform for deploying our annual environmental health safety (EHS) site orientation to contractors and collecting Certificates of Insurance.

Safety Stand-Downs

Safety stand-downs are a series of meetings held within all of our operating locations, including drilling rigs, frac sites, producing pads, compressor stations and storage facilities, designed to discuss safety topics such as:

  • Hazard Recognition at Respective Location
  • Near-Miss Reporting
  • Emergency Response
  • Driving Hazards to and from Location
  • Importance of Following Established PPE Protocols
  • Changing Weather
  • Fatigue

First Responder Outreach

Consistent and clear communication to first responders within all areas of operation is a constant focus at Seneca Resources. In accordance with this philosophy, periodic meetings and drills are held to review operations and emergency response plans.

We’re always looking for ways to build relationships with first responders and identify opportunities to collaborate on safety and response efforts.
