Integrated Upstream & Gathering

National Fuel Gas Company’s Integrated Upstream & Gathering segment consists of Seneca Resources Company, LLC and National Fuel Gas Midstream Company, LLC.

Seneca Resources Company, LLC, headquartered in Houston, Texas, explores for, develops, and produces natural gas in the Appalachian Region including the Marcellus and Utica Shales. We have been providing energy and jobs for more than 100 years and remain committed to our core values of safety, environmental stewardship, community, professionalism, teamwork, and technical excellence. Highland Field Services, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Seneca, was established to address the water management needs of Seneca Resources and other operators in the Appalachian Basin. Seneca operates in the Appalachian Basin, which boasts some of the lowest greenhouse gas and methane intensities domestically and internationally. Seneca’s ability to develop low-cost and low-emission intensity natural gas reserves in this basin illustrates the sustainability of our operations and positions us well for the future.

National Fuel Gas Midstream Company, LLC, shares in more than 100 years of experience in gathering and processing natural gas. Our primary business is to build, own and operate natural gas processing and pipeline gathering facilities in the Appalachian region. We work with producers confidentially to develop a tailored project to collect locally produced gas at or near the wellhead, to create outlets, to maximize throughput, to reduce operating costs and to improve reliability while ensuring compliance and safety—all designed to improve their bottom lines.
