Internship Description:
Based out of Williamsville, NY, National Fuel is looking for a highly motivated Engineering Intern for Summer 2025. The successful candidate may be involved in the following projects:
- Assist in engineering analysis and cost studies in the following subject areas:
- Improve energy efficiency on our midstream transmission and compression assets by work practice improvements and equipment upgrades.
- Emission reduction projects including emerging technologies of combustion system upgrades to reduce stack emissions in gas fueled machinery.
- Energy Transition Technologies which includes Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), Carbon Capture Utilization & Storage (CCUS), Hydrogen (H2) development, and onshore renewable power generation and transmission facilities.
- Other related projects may be assigned as needed
Qualifications:
- Must be an upper division Engineering student (at an ABET accredited school) with a minimum of two years of an Engineering curriculum
- Concentrations in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering are preferred
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
Compensation:
- The base pay for this position is $25/hr.
