PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leading subject matter expert teams to investigate incidents, system reliability concerns, and near misses affecting the pipeline system, to identify causal factors and implement corrective actions
- Working closely with corporate departments involved in regulatory compliance, including Engineering, Operations, and Legal to review pending regulations, advisories, enforcement actions, and industry lessons learned against existing procedures and programs to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
- Pipeline safety process improvement and technical procedure writing
- Championing and administering the corporate management of change program
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Self-motivated with ability to multi-task
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as coordinator of a team
- Technical and administrative ability to manage changes in process, as well as analyze and interpret pipeline incidents, abnormal operating conditions and new regulatory requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous pipeline engineering or field operations experience

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The base salary range for this position is $70,000-$102,000.

The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
